i uploaded it a while ago (and on a different laptop) i’ll definitely see if i can find for you!
wow, that’s a really good question. I had to dwell on it all day yesterday before I gave my answer. I could go the easy route and say that I loved every era of John, but I don’t think I would be completely honest if I said that. This is all in my opinion of course and people can agree or disagree with what I will say. That’s the beauty of free will. I won’t say BEST time though, I’ll choose to say my own personal favorite instead out of respect for others! Anyways, my favorite time in John Lennon’s life has to be around the whole 1960’s beatlemania era. I’m the type of person who could watch A Hard Day’s Night over and over again and be completely content with myself. While some of my favorite songs from both John and the Beatles are from the later years in regards to John as a solo artist and as a part of The Beatles, I still have a great appreciation for the early songs and a closer connection to them. Most of the earlier songs are the ones I grew up listening to, and one of my earliest memories is singing karaoke to Yellow Submarine with my younger sister. One of my favorite songs will always be “I Want to Hold Your Hand” (written by Lennon and McCartney), for example. I could go on and on about why I prefer this over that, but I’ll choose to stop here for now so I don’t bore anyone. I’m very glad you asked me this, and of course I am just speaking for myself and not the other two contributers of this tumblr! Thank you for following us and sending in your question! Feel free to send in any other questions you may have for us.
